Operations Manager
This is a new position in our Ultra Graphic Technology Division. The incumbent will report to the General Manager of the Division. As this is a Dongguan based position, cafeteria service and staff quarters as well as transportation expense will be provided.
Responsibility
* Oversee the operations covering offset printing, screen printing, graphical engineering and R&D;
* Manage production planning and control;
* Consider measures and strategies to improve graphic technology, sampling process, engineering, production, quality, logistics and R&D;
* Collaborate with internal functions and external vendors/sub-contractors for smooth operations; and
* Monitor and resolve engineering and production issues for paints, chemistry, chemical paints and softener.
Requirements
* Degree or Diploma in Printing Engineering or its equivalent;
* 8 years plus experience in printing, printing inks chemistry related industry;
* Knowledge/experience in ISO 9000 and safety requirements such as FDA, EN71, ASTM, Rohs, HE¡K
* Sound print color management concept, and computer knowledge,
* Ability to perform print quality trouble shooting and machines settings.
* Good problem solving skills and communication skills; and
* Proficiency in Cantonese, Putonghua and English.
